Euro 2012 qualifying: France 3 Albania 0

France maintained their place at the top of Group D with a comfortable 3-0 win over Albania in Euro 2012 qualifying at the Stade de France.

Florent Malouda opened the scoring in the 11th minute before Loic Remy doubled the home team s lead seven minutes before half-time.

Anthony Reveillere scored his first international goal on 67 minutes to secure three points for Laurent Blanc s side.

France face Bosnia and Herzegovina in Paris on Tuesday knowing that a draw would be enough to finish ahead of the Balkan side and claim a place at next year s finals in Poland and Ukraine.

The hosts started brightly and were soon ahead as Remy crossed for Malouda to hit home the opener after a slight deflection.

France nearly doubled their lead on 25 minutes, but Adil Rami could only head wide from close range after Yohan Cabaye s inviting corner into the penalty area.

Blanc s side did not have to wait long until they added a second as Remy latched onto a Samir Nasri through ball before finishing from a tight angle.

The result was put beyond doubt when Reveillere combined with the impressive Marvin Martin before beating Saimir Ujkani at his near-post.

Bosnia Herzegovina defeated Luxembourg 5-0 earlier on Friday.

Albania will look to end an unsuccessful qualifying campaign on a high with victory over Romania.
